Plein Air Painting with Kevin Macpherson in Hong Kong 2012

Plein air painting: capture some wonderful vistas of Hong Kong - the skyline of Victoria Harbor, flower and fish markets in Stanley and Wanchai, sampans in Aberdeen, sandy beaches in Repulse Bay, dim-sum in Chinese restaurants, local people, colors ... most of all, the vibrancy of Hong Kong, a window to China, a cosmopolitan city in the East that still retains many valuable facets of Chinese culture, and a Eastern-Western combined lifestyle.
A five-day intensive workshop filled with lectures, demonstrations, Question and Answer sessions, critiques, and studio sessions, conducted by the American Plein Air Master Kevin Macpherson. “I work the artists hard but we always have a lot of fun.” Kevin said. Itinerary will be tailor-made to suit the group’s needs. This is designed for artists and art teachers, and whoever wants to explore deeper into plein-air painting.

Spaces are limited to 18.
The workshop will be conducted mainly in English. Both local and overseas participants are welcome to join.
